Our 2011 Joint Voluntary Action Charnwood and John Storer House Foundation AGM will take place at 7.30 pm at John Storer House on Wednesday, 16 November 2011.
6 pm Reception
7 pm Formal Opening of Shop @ JSH
7.30 pm AGM
At 6 pm a Reception for guests will be held in the new Café @ JSH
All Members of VAC (organisations and individuals) and ‘Friends of JSH’
plus statutory representatives and members of the public are welcome to
drop-in and see what we have to offer, explore how we can meet your
needs and taste samples from our new Café menu.
During this time we hope to see our Members of VAC and recruit some
new members and ‘Friends of JSH’ and ask them to attend the AGM.
The former Mayor of Charnwood, Dr Jill Vincent, will be the guest speaker
for our AGM, reflecting on her year in ‘Vibrant Charnwood’.

JOINT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 17th November at 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm
An open invitation is extended to our joint AGM (please note only members are able to vote at the meeting).
This year members and guests will hear from key staff and trustees about the latest news about the development of services provided by Voluntary Action Charnwood and John Storer House Foundation.
We plan to hold a “drop-in” Market Place Session from 4.30 pm onwards for guests to see our services first hand and speak to our Service Managers and meet key staff. Our new and comprehensive Compendium of Services has just been published providing an Annual Review, Service Brochure, Impact Report and individual Service Details. All documents are currently available for download in the 'Reports and Documents' section of the website. Excerpts will be displayed on the walls of the Club Room along with our new displays.
We shall also be displaying the latest architects drawings for the refurbishment and re-development of John Storer House.
Everyone is very welcome to drop-in and see what we have to offer, explore how we can meet your needs and have a taster sample from the new Café menu. We shall encourage non-members to join and others to re-new their membership on the night ie update contact details etc.
The AGM starts formally at 7.30 pm and staff will be in attendance and will also make presentations during the meeting.
Please find below our Consolidated Summary of Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2010. Full sets of audited accounts for Voluntary Action Charnwood and independently examined accounts for John Storer House Foundation will be available on the day.
There are three places available for election to the Board of Trustees. If you wish to stand for election to the Board or you wish to nominate someone for election, please contact our Chief Executive, Neil Lambert for a Nomination Form. Please note that nominations must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 9th November and can only be made by a member qualified to vote at the meeting.
