Mars in the Community

A funding programme that supports projects and activities which promote the development of cohesive, healthy and sustainable communities within a 15 mile radius of Waltham on the Wolds and Melton Mowbray.
The fund support projects on 3 key themes: Healthy lifestyles, the environment and pet welfare.

Midlands Co-op welcomes applications for community projects from employees and members. Awards will be made under four broad headings: contributions towards the fund-raising efforts of a school, college, community organisation or
group, residential or day-care facility or hospital.
The Moto in the Community Trust is a new charity which has been set up by Moto Hospitality Ltd, which operates 48 service areas around the UK. The trust aims to make a positive difference to the communities that Moto forms part of. If you're looking to take a course that will improve your knowledge of consumer or debt issues, or personal money management, you may be able to get a grant. Or if you've an innovative idea to help lots of people, or you're an established charity wanting funding for a project; funds may be available as long as it helps educate and inform people about consumer or debt issues. http://www.msecharity.com
Myplace, a new funding programme delivered by the Big Lottery Fund on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families, opens on 6 May.
