The English Heritage Grants for War Memorials scheme provides grants for the repair and conservation of free-standing war memorials in England to help organisations and individuals responsible for their upkeep. Warm Front is a government-funded programme managed by EAGA that ensures vulnerable communities and households are well insulated and centrally heated with energy-saving benefits that reduce bills and CO2 emissions. http://www.warmfront.co.uk

for tree planting events
The Woodland Trust is offering grants of up to £100 for community groups that hold a tree planting event this winter. To qualify, the projects should involve planting primarily native broadleaf trees on public land and the event should be open to all the community.

The Weavers' Company Benevolent Fund provide grants of up to £15,000 to support UK-based organisations working with young offenders; prisoners and ex-prisoners; and young people who are at risk from criminal involvement.
