The Fair Share Trust aims to support organisations that have missed out on Lottery funding. Grants of between £5,000 and £250,000 are available to projects that meet at least one of the local priorities: increase capacity and sustainability, build social capital and improve livability.
Big Lottery Fund has launched Family Learning, a programme that helps parents to understand more about how their children learn and encourages adults and children to learn as a family. Grants of between £10,000 and £500,000 are available for imaginative projects that meet local needs and remove practical barriers to learning. Closing date is 29 August.

Foneaid can offer your group or organisation £3 for every mobile phone that you collect for recycling. On top of this, it will donate £100 worth of vouchers for every 100 phones collected.

Revenue and capital projects considered. The majority of grants will be between £10,000 to £50,000. The maximum amount of a large grant will not normally exceed £500,000 and may be payable over several years. No deadlines for submission. It may take up to four months or more, from receipt of a completed application, to obtain a decision from the Trustees.
The Foyle Foundation is an independent grantmaking trust that distributes grants to UK charities whose core work is in the areas of learning, the arts and health. Most grants awarded range between £10,000 and £50,000. Applications are accepted all year round.
The Foundation's Financial Inclusion Programme is interested in projects that address the problems of access to savings, insurance, pensions etc. for excluded people in a way that brings social and economic benefits. Grants can cover revenue or capital costs, and core or project costs. Full Cost Recovery is supported. Loans or part-loans will also be considered alongside grant aid. Applications can come from any independent organisation as long as the activity is broadly charitable.

Futurebuilders has launched a new fund specifically for consortia groups aiming to work together to win public service contracts. The Consortia Fund offers bespoke investment packages comprising loan finance and professional support, individually tailored to suit the needs of the consortium.
