Each year the Trustees of the LankellyChase Foundation set aside funds for summer playschemes for children between the ages of five to 13 years. Preference is given to small local playschemes lasting four to six weeks, and groups planning special activities for youngsters who are disadvantaged. Grants from £2,000 up to £500,000 are available for not-for-profit groups and organisations in England delivering such projects as growing, processing, marketing and distributing local food; composting and raising awareness of the benefits of such activities.
Grants from £2,000 to £300,000 are available from the Wildlife Trusts for not-for-profit groups and organisations delivering projects such as growing, processing, marketing and distributing local food; composting and raising awareness of the benefits of such activities.
Local Network Fund for Children and Young People
The Local Network Fund grants of £250 to £7,000 are available to small voluntary and community groups to improve outcomes and opportunities for children and young people.
