Young people can access volunteering opportunities through a new website designed for 16 - 25 year olds. The site was set up by v, a charity that encourages young people to volunteer.

International Development Secretary Douglas Alexander has announced a new global volunteering scheme for 18 to 25-year-olds. Platform2 will offer young adults from less advantaged backgrounds the opportunity to live, work and learn about life in poorer countries.
